Restronguet Creek  is fairly remote and the chance of an ambulance arriving in less than 8 minutes cannot be guaranteed. Around 30,000 people in the UK will suffer a cardiac arrest. If a public access defibrillator is nearby, survival rates as high as 75% can be achieved.

We are working to fundraise for a new public Access Defibrillator for the community and marine users around the Pandora Inn, Restronguet Creek. Coast Medic is run by a South West Ambulance Service paramedic and works with the ambulance service to ensure that the public access cabinets they install are registered with the ambulance service. Coast Medic will also provide the necessary training and on-going back up support.

With your help, we can install an automatic external defibrillator (AED) at the local pub which is the heart of the community in Restronguet.  The pub gets thousands of visitors each year and has a small hamlet of residents living around the pub.

Donating online through the charity’s website is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with and once you donate, the money will be paid directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for us.
