Public access defibrillators are easy to use and require no mandatory training. However, you wouldn’t want to try to put on a life jacket while your drowning. Training provides both familiarisation and the confidence needed to safely save a life.   Our registered health care professionals offer training in your community, making future hero’s and potential lifesavers.

Your Kit is Always Ready

Once you have successfully installed a public access defibrillator, you don’t want to worry about the ongoing maintenance.   Electrode PADs and Battery’s need replacing periodically, Annual Servicing needs to be undertaken and Liason with the local ambulance service needs to be undertaken.   Our team assists with all of this. We have a 24/7 support desk to record any concerns or queries. We have stand by defibrillators ready to deploy to you if there’s s problem and Spares in stock at our central head quarters in Treliske Hospital.

Affiliated with Ambulance Service

All of the public access defibrillators that we put into the community are registered with the South Western Ambulance Service under an official memorandum of understanding.  This means that in an emergency, the 999 call centre can direct members of the community to their closest defibrillator and give them the nessasary information to ensure a prompt rescue.   Our support team are automatically notified by the ambulance service if a public defibrillator is used enabling us to get your aed back into action quickly.
